During an appearance on Thursday, former Democrat Hawaii Representative and 2020 Presidential Candidate, Tulsi Gabbard, told Hannity that she is considering another bid for the White House in 2024.

Tulsi told Hannity that she is consider a run if she felt that was the best way for her to serve her country.

When asked if the run would be as an independent this time, Tulsi said that she was considering all options.

Tulsi Gabbard was a life long Democrat before announcing her departure from the party back in October 2022.

“I think that there are actually a lot of Democrats across the country who, like me, feel that today’s Democratic Party is completely out of touch with the people,” Gabbard said. “We have the Democrat elite, people in the Biden administration pushing this nonsense saying things like the government should be responsible for raising your children, not you as parents. They are pushing things like censorship of any speech that they don’t like. They are pushing open borders. They are pushing favoring victims or criminals.”

“I was a Democrat my entire life until a few months ago,” she continued. “Because of their insanity, I could no longer associate myself with them.”

Gabbard said she believes that most Democratic voters are looking for another option besides reelecting President Joe Biden, who “takes voters for granted.”

“Voters want options,” Gabbard added. “They want to be able to vote for the best candidate that they believe can do the job.”

When asked about speculation that Gavin Newson could challenge Biden for the nomination, Tulsi said that Newsom is “just a younger version of the Biden administrations policies” that “look out for their own self serving interests and not the best interest of the American people”.

Biden does already have two challengers in the primary already. RFK Jr. formally entered the race on April 19, 2023.

2020 Presidential Candidate Marianne Williamson is also seeking the nomination, but this week she admitted that her campaign is very low on cash.

“I have put my own money in, and I don’t have the money to continue putting it in at the level I have” Politico has reported.
