Former Democrat Presidential Candidate Tulsi Gabbard slammed the Biden administration last week, accusing them of not caring about securing the country.
Tulsi Gabbard sat down with Fox News Host Laura Ingraham last week, and accused the Biden administration of not caring about securing the country, and slammed the Biden administration for not taking steps to secure the southern border.
Gabbard said that people across the country are being impacted by unprecedented levels of illegal immigrants crossing the border, and that the cartels and human traffickers are the ones that are benefiting from the administrations open border policies.
Ingraham asked Gabbard about the situation in Eagle Pass, which has been one of the hot beds for illegal crossings. Eagle Pass is a town of about 30,000 and reports are that more than 2,200 were filmed illegally crossing in one night earlier this week.
“It is an open border policy,” Tulsi said. “Everyone coming across the border knows that it’s not (secure) and that they can get away with this” Tulsi continued.
Gabbard called for a return of Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy, and that we need to secure the border through physical and electronic means. She also called for the President and Congress to work together to fix our broken asylum laws.
In June 2022, Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Brett Kavanaugh joined with the three liberal justices on the Supreme Court and ruled that the Biden administration could can end the Trump policy known as “Remain in Mexico”, which had forced thousands of asylum seekers to wait south of the border while their claims were adjudicated.
