A few weeks ago, West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin pressed Biden’s Interior Secretary Deb Haaland on a memo from her own department which stated that ‘A proposed program is not a decision to issue specific leases or to authorize any drilling or development’.
“Secretary Haaland, you all just put out a statement, the U.S. Department of Interior just put out a statement, and the statement basically says, ‘A proposed program is not a decision to issue specific leases or to authorize any drilling or development,'” Manchin said. “This is from y’all’s office,'” he explained. “So it looks like you are gonna shut everything down. Did you know y’all put this out?”
Haaland was completely clueless about the memo, or so she claimed. “I, I, I, I — I’m sorry, I’m sitting in this hearing, and not —” Haaland stumbled. She has no idea what is going on in her own department?
She must have suddenly become aware of the memo because when she was pressed further she claimed that that memo doesn’t mean that the administration is definitely not going to issue new leases.
Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) later questioned Haaland and managed to force Haaland to admit that, even with a new leasing auction program, there is no actual deadline to begin new drilling. “That’s the concern, actually, that all of us have, that there’s actually no deadline,” Lankford scolded. “That the proposal to talk about it is coming on the date that it should be done, and that this is going to stretch out for the next two, three years of talking about it.”
What this administration is doing is intentionally driving up the cost of energy to the point where you will have no point but to switch to “green” and unreliable technology. If you have been following me for the past year, the actions that this administration has taken and is now considering shouldn’t come as any surprise to you.
Why on earth would you even consider not allowing any new leases for several years, when prices are already at record levels, unless you wanted it to be unaffordable for the average person? Why would you even consider this if the Great Reset was truly just a “conspiracy theory”, which it’s not?
This really just echoes what Joe Biden himself has said. It’s not a secret that this administration hates the idea of fossil fuels and is 100% on board with the Great Reset and ESG. Recently Biden came out and called the record high prices an “incredible transition.”

If you aren’t ready for things to get even worse, you need to prepare immediately. JP Morgan is predicting $6 per gallon gas nationwide by the end of this summer, which means that places like California are going to be much higher. Stations in Washington are already running out of fuel. Diesel reserves are at dangerously low levels And 2/3rds of the country is now at an elevated risk for blackouts this summer.
It’s going to be a very long time before we go back to normal and really dark days are coming. Even if this administration did a complete 180 today, it would take years to reverse the damage that they have caused, just in the last 17 months. If we have to wait for a new administration to come in to reverse these policies, things are going to get really bad and worse than anything that you have ever seen in America and it could take at least the next decade to recover.
