While everyone is talking about topics like the Derrick Chauvin trial, making D.C. into a state and packing the Supreme Court, we need to start watching the other hand. What is being discussed in DC while we are all focused on these stories?
This week, the White House and Congress are meeting to discuss the new “infrastructure” bill. Let’s go through just some of what President Biden would like to see in this new “infrastructure” bill that is expected to cost $3.2 trillion.
- Replace 10 of the most economically significant bridges.
- Repair 10,000 bridges
- Build new railways and transit lines.
- Build 500,000 charging stations nationwide.
- Procure materials from minority-owned businesses.
- Replace 100 percent of leads pipes and service lines.
- Build infrastructure for 100 percent of high-speed broadband coverage.
- Hike corporate tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent.
- Exact a 15 percent minimum tax on large corporations’ book income.
- Prioritize “addressing long-standing and persistent racial injustice”.
- Raise wages and benefits for home caregiving workers.
- “Prepare students to be productive workers” and paid community college.
- Eliminate the use of paper plates in public schools.
- Retrofit housing to be more green.
- Expand access to long-term care services under medicaid.
- Establish the United States as a leader in climate change.
- Eliminate racial and gender inequities in R&D, science, technology, engineering, and math.
- Support violence prevention programs to the tune of $5 billion.
- “Build social infrastructure to support innovation and productivity across the country”.
- Cut emissions by 50% by 2030.
Notice that a lot of these are from the Green New Deal that they couldn’t pass? Is it a coincidence that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez also re-introduced the Green New Deal right before they meet to discuss Biden’s infrastructure bill?
They can’t pass most of what’s in the Green New Deal in it’s own bill because it’s insane and moderate Democrats are unlikely to go along with it. But if you call it “infrastructure” and add it to part of a larger “infrastructure” bill, they can push it through.
I also need to point out the last point. Biden wants to cut emissions by 50% in 2030. That is impossible unless you completely destroy the economy and shut everything down and then maybe you can cut emissions that much. You need a shutdown that goes further then the shutdown for COVID.
This infrastructure plan is going to usher in the Green New Deal and will destroy the economy. We can not afford to spend another $3 trillion on anything, let alone a bill where less than 6% of it actually goes to infrastructure, and that is according to Newsweek which isn’t exactly known as being “far-right”.
I’ve been saying this for a few months now but you need to prepare for a collapse of the system. You need to prepare for the dollar to collapse. We can not afford to keep spending this amount of money and not expect the consequences that every country who has this amount of debt experiences. Then when you add on top of that amount of debt all of the restrictions that will need to be eliminated under this bill to cut emissions by 50% in 9 years, and other plans that we don’t even know about yet, it’s going to be disaster.
Make sure that you and your family are prepared for what’s coming. Do what I started doing six years ago and buy food storage. This is a company that I have spent thousands of dollars with because I knew there would come a time like we are living in and it’s going to get much worse before it gets better. Make sure that you and your family aren’t caught off guard when SHTF or even if you are just out of work for a few months. Check out mypatriotsupply.com below to get started.
